The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences was established after formation of State of Telangana. University of Health Sciences started functioning from the academic year 2016-17 from Kakatiya Medical College. All the colleges which are affiliated to Dr. NTRUHS were dis-affliliated and affiliated to KNRUHS from 1st June 2016.
